Life Force & the Energy of Life: The invisible energy that animates everything.
Life force is the universal spirit moving through us. It is the current that grew us from a tiny embryo into a full adult without us ever controlling a thing. It is always present, always available, always flowing — but we have free will. And free will means we get to choose: do we align with life force, or do we resist it? Do we listen to our intuition and higher guidance, or do we drown it out with the noise of the ego?
At any given moment, spirit is concentrated wherever we place our attention. This means that in every second, you can consolidate all creative energy into the place where you focus. That is the incredible power of life force: it follows your awareness. When you focus on fear, fear expands. When you focus on beauty, gratitude, and love, they expand. Your free will is simply this: to decide whether your energy flows with the universal current, or whether you move away from it into resistance. When you move away — when you cling, control, judge, or live from ego — you feel struggle. You feel hopeless, helpless, disconnected, and lost. But when you flow with your life force, you connect with higher and faster energies that lift you into inspiration.
The word “inspired” literally means in-spirited. When you feel inspired, it is not just your own effort — it is life force working through you. It is the universal mind moving into harmony with your personal intention. This is why willpower and force are never as powerful as imagination and intuition. Will is rooted in ego, in separation, in trying to prove something. Imagination and intuition are rooted in life force itself. They are the movement of universal intelligence within you. That is why imagination feels limitless, why intuition feels like a whisper of truth you can’t explain but somehow know.
I realised that I no longer need to “manifest” in the way I used to think. I am not here to push, force, or hustle outcomes into existence. My body is simply a vessel for life force to flow through me. My work is to align with that energy — to empty out of judgment and doubt, to clear space for inspiration, to focus on the good, to allow the universal current to use me. As one teaching said: “To be empty, completely empty, is not a fearsome thing. It is essential. Only then can the mind move into unknown depths.”
Life force is infinite potential. It animates not only your physical body but also your non-physical reality. The only way you can deactivate this force is by believing you are separate from it. And that belief in separation is the great illusion. Life force is pure love in action. It is creative, abundant, confident, and constantly seeking expansion. When you are aligned with it, you naturally feel uplifted and expansive. When you are out of alignment — doing things that don’t light you up, staying in environments that drain you, or entertaining thoughts of scarcity and judgment — your life force weakens, and dissatisfaction grows.
I began to see how judgment, especially self-judgment, distorts the flow of life force. Judgment is like a knot in the river. It blocks the current. Compassion, kindness, and love, on the other hand, open the channel. Science even shows that service and kindness increase serotonin — the same chemical that antidepressants work on. Service isn’t just a spiritual principle; it is biologically wired into us as medicine. When you serve, when you move in love, you strengthen life force.
Another powerful lesson was about the vibrational quality of life force. Thoughts, feelings, and even your body carry frequencies. Higher and faster energies dissolve lower and slower energies. That is why love and compassion dissolve anger, why light fills darkness instantly, why beauty reframes pain. You cannot remedy anything by condemning it. If you meet judgment with judgment, or anger with anger, you join the same weakened energy. But if you meet it with compassion, you rise into a higher frequency that transforms it.
Life force seeks expansion. It calls us to advance confidently in its direction. To live with intention, to imagine boldly, to stay open to intuition, to trust the timing of the universe. The secret to manifesting anything is not force but harmony — realigning your inner world with life force so your thoughts, feelings, and actions move with the current, not against it. When you are in harmony, the universe responds. When you ask life, “How can I serve you?”, life always answers: “How can I serve you as well?” This is the energy of co-creation.
Living in flow with life force is not about scarcity or lack, but abundance. There is no end to consciousness. You emerged from something unlimited, and you carry that within you. Scarcity is just a distortion, an illusion that cuts you off from the truth. When you trust life force, when you stay open to receiving divine guidance, you live in readiness. You become receptive to the law of growth, to the rhythm of creation, to the abundance of life itself.
Ultimately, life force is not something to understand with the mind — it is something to feel, to trust, to allow. It cannot be proven or described in words because it is beyond reason. It is silent knowledge, intuition, presence. And it begins the moment you invite it to play an active part in your life. The moment you transcend doubt, clear the clutter, and say yes to your intuition, life force begins to move through you again.
