DESIGNED AS YOU GATES GUIDE IN THE HUMAN DESIGN CHART

GATES

Gates are where consistent energy exists in the chart. The gates are mapped according to the planetary activations. If a number appears as one of your activations, that gate will be defined and coloured into your chart as the black and red lines.

Each gate has a theme/flavour to its energy. Therefore, if you have a gate activated, it means you hold that gift (and potential) consistently. The combination of all of these gates/gifts creates your energetic aura.

Each gate encompasses a higher or lower expression, so it is crucial to find a balance in the energy evoked in that particular gate.

Whenever looking at a gate, take note of the center it is coming from because it will embody that energy, i.e. all the gates from the splenic center are about intuition, fear, instincts and timing.

Gates within the Root Center

All gates coming out of the root center reflect momentum, pressure, getting things started.

Gate 58: Vitality

Gate 58 reflects a constant and internal pressure to improve and make things better. At its higher expression, it can manifest as seeking to improve yourself, and provide fuel and inspiration to others to also better themselves. This gate brings the energy for joy, transformation and improvement. Gate 58 knows that we must face the source of our unhappiness/what needs to be transformed, if we want to live that is rooted in joy.

At the lower expression, it can turn into perfectionism and always searching for what is wrong (never feeling satisfied or that anything is good enough). There can become an insecurity that they aren’t good enough if they aren’t improving. They can set unreasonably high expectations on themselves and others.

It is important to channel their eye and gift for improvement on projects and processes, not always internally or on people they are in relationship with.

Gate 38: Fighter

Gate 38 reflects an energy that is wanting to fight for things that have meaning and purpose. At the higher expression, this gate holds the gift of perseverance, discernment and ability to withstand and overcome struggle and stress. There is pressure fueled by the root center to constantly evolve and make life meaningful, which can manifest as an energy to fight for “what’s right”. They have a strong buffer in chaos or situations go awry. They thrive in emergencies or when “shit hits the fan”.

At the lower expression, it is the search for unhealthy struggle, drama or fighting for the sake of fighting. There can be a belief that life is meant to be a struggle, which then creates that into reality. There might also be a tendency to get into arguments for no reason.

Those with this gate should use their gifts in being able to withstand struggle and stress, but not be constantly in search for it.

Gate 54: Ambition

Gate 54 reflects a pressure to achieve, rise up and transform. At its higher expression, there is a strong drive to provide for themselves and stand on their own two feet. They will work hard towards their dreams, stopping at nothing. They want to be self-sufficient and master the material plane (time, money and resources).

At the lower expression, those with gate 54 have blind ambition without touching base whether it’s what they want or where their authority is guiding them. It will inevitably lead them to resistance, struggle and their Not Self. They also have the tendency to give up very quickly when the results aren’t instant.

They instead need to use their gifts to achieve their dreams based on where their strategy and authority is guiding them. Whilst also finding power in doing something even if they aren’t the “best” or “first”.

Gate 53: Beginnings

Gate 53 reflects a pressure to start new things, projects or innovations. At its highest expression, there is an energy inside their body wanting to create, do and start. It is important to follow their strategy and authority, and trust that they will have the momentum and pressure to start once they need it.

At the lower expression, there is a tendency to prematurely start or feel like they have to start something to be worthy. They may have too many open loops (projects, goals, ideas, tasks) and no energy to see them through. It can lead to always staying in your comfort zone and quitting too soon.

The sweet spot is to use their gift to start, initiate and create when their strategy and authority is leading them. They will have the momentum to start and follow through.

Gate 60: Limitation

Gate 60 reflects the ability and pressure to transform and transcend any limitations. They do not like when obstacles stand in their way, and they use their creativity and stamina to overcome said obstacles. They break antiquated “rules” and create effective ways, systems and structures to get to the end goal. This is where transformation happens.

At the lower expression, they become a victim to roadblocks, rules, laws and boundaries. They see the roadblock and give up, not even bothering to try. They ignore their ability and gift of being able to overcome the obstacle. Instead, they stay in their comfort zone instead of using their creativity to overcome challenges.

They need to find the happy medium by trusting that they can push past an obstacle by using their creativity and perseverance.

Gate 52: Inaction

Gate 52 reflects a pressure and tendency to resist restlessness. When they are overthinking about life, they need to sit still and let things, realisations or urges come to them. They need to resist the pressure to constantly “do”. This pressure will never go away if they continue to feed the addiction to always being busy and moving. When they are feeling this restlessness, they need to breathe and get back into their body. Trust that everything is in the present moment and all that is meant for them, will come to them.

The highest expression is knowing that they can be still and things will still happen. At the lower expression is always being in the rat race, never slowing down and avoiding the present moment.

Gate 19: Approach

Gate 19 reflects the ability to be attuned to other people’s emotions and needs. They can sense other people’s needs before they even realise it. This is their gift of feeling into the other, which they love to meet the needs of others because they personally thrive when those around them are thriving. At the highest expression, they are able to move their community and selves forward by sensing and providing for their needs.

At the lower expression, they are not understanding or catering to their own needs, and always prioritising others first. This can also be a fuel for co depending.

They need to find the balance between looking out for and supporting other’s needs, while also doing the same for themselves.

Gate 39: Provocation

Gate 39 is the energy of proking in high consciousness. They have the view and gift of heightened emotional and spiritual awareness that gives clarity for transformation. They see what needs to be looked at, analysed and reevaluated in themselves and others. They have the pressure to call things out that are suppressing or holding someone back. They often want to call out “bullshit” or say something that people don’t see or realise. They are a warrior of the light, showing people where they need to change to uplevel themselves. Even at their higher expression, they will likely trigger people so that they can in turn look at what is to be healed within them. Provocation can be done in a light hearted and higher consciousness way where they are bringing things to light without being malicious or harsh.

At the lower expression, it is intentionally pushing other people’s buttons in an attempt to hurt people, or as revenge. It can also be taking responsibility for other people’s processes and emotions - becoming a people pleaser.

Those with gate 39 are designed to provoke or get people thinking in a loving, higher conscious way; not in a rude, overbearing, judgemental way.

Gate 41: Contraction

Gate 41 holds the gift and pressure to create art and have new mystical experiences. At their higher expression, those with gate 41 will explore their artistic creativity and incorporate their creative flair in all aspects of their life. They will allow their imaginative and fantastical mind and body to flourish. They hold a vision for their big hopes and dreams.

At the lower expression, they may never take steps towards their dreams or stay stuck in fantasies. They can surrender to fear, feel too nervous to take action and stop their dreams in their tracks.

They need to hold their vision for a greater, more magical future that incorporates their art and creativity.

Gates within the Solar Plexus Center

All gates coming out of the solar plexus relate to emotions.

Gate 30: Passion

Gate 30 embodies a desire to connect and feel deeply. There is consistent energy for emotional, passionate, juicy desire in life. They understand and want to experience the full spectrum of feelings and emotions as a part of their human experience. In the higher expression, they are able to draw in, feel, and process the deepest depths of emotion.

In the lower expression, there can be an energy for being self indulgent and always looking for intensity and passion - even if that means starting drama or destruction just for the sake of invoking passion. They should refrain from looking for something to feel sad or deep about.

They need to find the balance of allowing emotions to flow through them, feeling in the moment and letting them go. It can be used as a beautiful fuel to help us connect, rather than riding on every heightened negative emotion.

Gate 55: Spirit

Gate 55 reflects the desire and ability to feel the fullness and abundance of life. It is the true embodiment of all that is good and possible in the world. In the higher expression, they recognise the infinite abundance and beauty of life, and help us decondition different perspectives of lack and scarcity. They are the holder of the lesson that joy and bliss is what life is all about. They need to be a lightbearer of this lesson and move towards their joy unashamedly.

At the lower expression, they can put pressure on everything to be “perfect” (i.e. if they don’t feel amazing then something is wrong). Life is an emotional wave of highs and lows. Their not self is moody and impulsive which can cause emotional chaos for others. They need not reject low emotional experiences or use them as evidence of lack or victimhood. They need to use their emotions as creative fuel, or else they lose faith in life.

Gate 49: Revolution

Gate 49 embodies the gift of altruism and desire to help others. They have a set of values and beliefs that they know are right for people. They are compassionate and care for others deeply. Those with gate 49 have an innate ability to help lead others through difficult or tough times. They have an emotional sense for when it is time to change, shift or renew. They are very loyal and require loyalty from others.

At the lower expression, they can project their own values onto others forcefully or put all their self worth in helping people. They can believe that there is a right way and a wrong way to do life. This causes them to become rigid and  “settle for nothing less” than perfect. From this place, it is common to ruthlessly cut people out of their lives when they don’t live up to their perfect standards.

Gate 6: Conflict

Gate 6 embodies the gift and ability to create intimacy and bonds to facilitate closeness with people. They crave deepness and realness in their relationships - small talk won’t cut it. They understand that growth and strength in relationships often grows from vulnerabiliity and even friction or conflict. There is great potential for emotional intelligence and awareness in this gate. With their knowledge, they take full responsibility for their emotions and do not engage in needless confrontation.

At the lower expression, there can be a fear associated with not feeling safe to be intimate and vulnerable with others. There can also be an energy of emotional volatility or reactivity, especially when fighting for things that don’t matter or projecting unresolved emotions onto others.

Gate 37: Friendship

Gate 37 reflects the energy of strong familial and friendship bonds, created through love, communication and healthy boundaries. Those with this gate love to connect with their people, valuing and respecting all people as part of their family, community or friendship circle. Part of their purpose is to bring people together and is an avenue for success. They desire harmony, peace and loyalty in their relationships. They need recognition, and give recognition - often showing love through physical touch.

At the lower expression, they can sacrifice themselves and their needs for others, in order to please or make sure that the tribe stays together. They may also not take responsibility in their emotions, instead projecting onto others.

Gate 22: Grace

Gate 22 embodies a veil of grace and charm. At the highest expression, they have an alluring and charming essence that expresses beauty from within and inspires others with their openness. When the mood is right, they can work a room and charm anyone. They have an eye for beauty, arts, aesthetics and abundance. Even if they think they aren’t being graceful, others see that they are.

In the lower expression, those with gate 22 can be moody and overly dramatic. On these days, they need to not rush decisions or force themselves to do things they don’t want to do. They should be mindful that their depth of emotion can overpower others, and when their mood is low, they can be distinctly uncharming and unsocial, and even push people away.

It’s important to wait out their moods, not project their emotions onto others or make decisions when they are in their emotional low.

Gate 36: Crisis

Gate 36 embodies the energy of crisis experience, management and transformation. They are attuned to their own and other people’s issues, crises and traumas. At their highest expression, they are highly compassionate and empathetic with themselves and others, especially during hard times. They are naturally able to help people with their issues that they have gone through themselves. They go through cycles in which their inexperience with something becomes experience, wisdom and skill. They then share their findings with others who are going through similar crises. A person with gate 36 is their own first case study - they can share what has helped them.

People with gate 36 can experience deep emotions, from the highest highs to the lowest lows. They need to surrender to their emotions and see what the experience is teaching them - they know how to deal with these types of crises so they should stand and trust in their strength.

Some may say that crises follow them, and if they don’t, they may create them. This is at the lowest expression. There can be an inability to relax and a tendency to create emotional drama. They can resort to victim mentality, beat themselves up, and hold themselves to impossible standards.

Gates within the Sacral Center

All gates from the sacral center are about work, sexuality, making things happen, bringing things into existence.

Gate 59: Sexuality

Gate 59 embodies a deep desire for intimacy, seduction and sexuality. They know how to connect with people and break down barriers and walls to create bonds. People are naturally attracted to them and feel their sensual energy. They are not here for base level connections, they are seeking to form intimate bonds.

At the lower expression, they may avoid the vulnerability needed to create such intimate connections. There can be a fear associated with this. They also might feel pressure to always be there for their people, and not look after themselves. They should also hold the knowing that it is safe to be a sexual being.

Gate 9: Focus

Gate 9 holds the gift of being able to focus, tweak and perfect what is missing. They have a high attention to detail and deep concentration. They can zoom in and focus on specific things, and spot what others wouldn’t. Each person with this gate will have something that they see so clearly. This brings patience and resilience. Through this gift, they are empowered to take the necessary steps to achieve both individual and collective goals.

At the lower expression, they can be obsessing or concentrating on things that don’t really matter - especially when they lose sight of the big picture. This can turn into obsessive behaviour and thinking, where they can’t let something go.

They need to learn that not every task requires a high level focused energy. They can let things go. They should notice if they are doing something out of a frustrated place, then stop, regroup and return afterward.

Gate 3: Ordering

Gate 3 embodies the energy of moving out of confusion and chaos towards order and clarity. They have an ability to alchemise their experiences into learnings, order and wisdom - especially experiences that were traumatising or triggering as a child. This is their gift to help others, and can be a big focus in their lives. They have the ability to break out of existing structures, create change and have a new start. They understand that the beginning of change is the hardest part but push through any obstacles or hurdles to transformation.

At the lower expression, they can be stuck in victim mentality or push a new direction in their life out of impulse and impatience which results in feeling chaotic and out of control.

Gate 42: Growth

Gate 42 embodies the energy to finish and see things through to the end. They see the possibilities in life and use that to fuel projects, dreams, goals to their full potential.  These people make good consultants and advisors as they are good reality checkers and like to make plans with intention.

At the lower expression, there can be a tendency or pressure to complete things before its time or see things through that shouldn’t be, i.e. unhealthy attachment, relationships, jobs, repeating patterns. They may try to control how things finish by self sabotaging.

Gate 27: Caring

Gate 27 embodies a natural inclination and ability to care for others, especially those in need. They know how to look after their community and have a deep desire to be the caretaker. It is important for them to find a balance between self care and caring for others, as they can often feel a responsibility for others. They need to take responsibility for their own needs first to ensure healthy relationships, rather than overgiving.

This is where they would be in their lower expression - taking incorrect responsibility for other people’s needs. They cannot self-sacrifice and care for others in an attempt to prove that they are worthy of love and belonging.

Gate 34: Power

Gate 34 embodies natural charisma and busy, powerful energy. They are fast and complex people. They are usually someone that has many things going at once. At their highest expression, they are very powerful, magnetic humans. They have energy for empowerment, manifestation and steady vision. They can manifest easily when in their flow, and following their strategy/authority.

The lower expression is pushing or forcing things into reality, when they aren’t listening to their strategy/authority. Failure to have a clear vision can leave them rushing around aimlessly, leaving them feeling drained of time, energy and resources.

Gate 5: Fixed Patterns

Gate 5 embodies a natural sense of rhythms and ritual within their body. They have an energy for consistency where they are designed to trust their rhythm in life. From this place, they are empowered to create habits, routines, and rituals that truly work for them. They find comfort and ease in maintaining a routine that feels good for them by following their own body’s rhythm (as opposed to following what works for others). Whatever rituals they are attracted to and feel good, they are designed to follow them. They have a specific timing in life so they should listen to their natural rhythm (i.e. morning vs night person).

The lower expression is if they take this desire for patterns to the extreme and become obsessed with establishing perfect habits and routines that they never take any other action.

Gate 14: Power Skills

Gate 14 encompasses an effortless ability to make people, projects and places better. They amplify good in others and magnify their talents, without any effort. They help to move society forward in this way. Past relationships, teams and dynamics are left better just because they were involved. They have the energy to make social connections and abundance to contribute to those around them. As such, they are a service to all just by being in existence.

At the lower expression, they may become obsessed and over controlling in their work.

Gate 29: Perseverance

Gate 29 has a strong perseverance energy. They are committed, faithful and devoted to the things that matter to them. Whatever they say yes to, they become determined and committed to that thing. There can be a tendency to say yes to everything so it is important that they are committed only to what is lighting them up and following their strategy/authority. They have the ability to withstand trials and tribulations in order to get to their end goal. There is a strong desire to collaborate and get involved with others.

At the lower expression is an energy for feeling burned out or overcommitted - that they need to be devoted to something out of obligation, fear or an attempt to prove worthiness. If devoted to things that don’t really matter, they can quickly become depleted and frustrated.

Gates within the Splenic Center

All gates coming from the splenic center relate to instincts, intuition, timing and fears.

Gate 18: Perfection

Gate 18 embodies the instinctual and intuitive ability to improve and make things better. They can see a pattern and know how it can be improved.

It can also manifest as a fear that nothing will be perfect enough, so they stay small and stuck. They may not take action because of the fear of not getting it right or the fear of judgement of what others will think if they do. There can become a cycle of self sabotaging and repeating the same patterns that are damaging. They can beat themselves up with negative self-talk or being hyper focused on their flaws and mistakes of others.

They need to find a happy medium between seeking to improve, but not setting expectations too high (that nothing will ever be enough).

Gate 28: Risk Taking

Gate 28 holds the lessons of the game of life. They enter into experiences that are highly beneficial and up-level their lives. They intuitively find meaning behind any struggles and alchemising these into wisdom. They can face the hard and dark in life with courage and find a deep joy in overcoming obstacles and finding meaning in life.

Gate 28 can also manifest as a fear of time running out and aging. There is a constant pressure of time, where they feel like they will never accomplish or do what they want to. They can avoid stillness, slowness or silence which can result in risky, impulsive behaviour. There can be a fear of death, especially before they find the meaning of their life. This can mean they easily find themselves feeling hopeless, purposeless and meaningless. If stuck in a victim mentality, life will feel harder or less fair for them (which may feel true if not following their design). They may sink into melancholy or a feeling of emptiness when it feels too hard.

Gate 32: Duration

Gate 32 is the energy of guiding their community into its highest potential. They can see the big picture, sense what needs to change, and is in a healthy relationship with both success and failure. With this perspective, they can undertake projects, lead people or fulfil their goals without getting thrown off by the “failures” along the way. They understand that failure is a part of the process and use their intuition when change or a pivot is needed. They can spot potential success and evaluate the goals, dreams and projects that are worthy and viable to be invested in.

Gate 28 can also show up as a fear of failure. A belief that if they try, they will fail. So instead of listening to their strategy/authority, they stay in fear and don’t push forward. They may be resistant to change, to take risks or trust in their own abilities. There can be a tendency to isolate themselves due to a belief that they must go through life alone.

Gate 50: Values

Gate 50 at its highest expression is a love energy and unconditional support to their community. They are built to take care and support others. They are highly in tune to the needs of others in each situation, while also caring for themselves.

At the lower expression, there can be a fear of failing responsibility, taking on more than they can handle or fear of their highest self. Those with gate 50 do not want to let people down and can be riddled with guilt if they do, especially those they are closest to. Therefore, they are afraid to take on responsibility because they know what that entails. They run away from these responsibilities, which means they do not step into their power or highest self (because they know the responsibility that comes with that). It sometimes might feel safer to play small. This manifests as a fear that if they step into their highest, most powerful Self - then they will be faced with huge responsibility & potential judgment or ridicule from others (i.e. "who does she think she is?!"). They fear their own inherent strength, impactfulness and power because they don’t want to ruffle any feathers.

They need to step into their power, and trust that they can establish boundaries with others. They do not have to be a victim to responsibilities, it is their choice about how much they take on. It is up to them to not overgive, overpromise or babysit other people.

Gate 44: Alertness

Gate 44 gives the gift of intuitively feeling and knowing if people or situations are not truthful. They have an energy that helps them see through bullshit or falseness. They are attuned to truth - they have intuition around patterns; whether the past is worth repeating, or whether it’s about to. They can bring awareness to the lessons from the past so they don’t repeat the same mistakes. They are also attuned to energy so they can create an atmosphere that makes people comfortable. They know how to present things in a way that will be appealing to others

At the lower expression, it can manifest as a fear of the past catching up to them or of repeating past missteps. And/or always looking over their shoulder afraid that what happened before may happen again. They use these past experiences as a “reason” to not move forward. This internal resistance caused from past instances prevents their ability to transform, learn and grow. They need to foster the belief that just because something happened in the past, does not necessarily mean that it will happen in the future and continue to happen. They need to cultivate hope and subconscious belief that things can change and people do change. They have changed.

Gate 57: Intuition

Gate 57 is the most intuitive gate. Those who have this gate have strong intuitive knowing - somewhat seeing into the future. They connect with instant awareness and clear guidance about what is right for them and what is not. They have an intuitive sense for the future - they can see what’s coming next or what problem is coming in the future. It is important to trust this guidance, truth and clarity received in the now from their intuition. Don’t try to explain or logicalise this intuitive instinct.

At the lower expression, they do not trust their intuition or dismiss their instincts because it isn’t based on logic. This lack of trust can lead to trusting other people’s opinions or overriding intuitive wisdom with their mind.

It can also manifest as a fear of the future. They may be prone to future tripping where they worry about what will happen next and seek control by planning everything. They may be hesitant to take action for fear of what might happen and spend their time worrying about potential outcomes rather than trusting their intuition.

Gate 48: Depth

Gate 48 is an energy of courage to do things even if it feels scary. They have an intuitive knowing and understanding of beauty and greatness. They can spot what is missing, when things are incomplete and how they can be made better. Those with this gate typically have taste and aesthetic palate.

At the lower expression, there is a fear that they will never be good enough. It can manifest as a belief that they don’t have what it takes. They can get stuck and not move forward out of this fear, or get hung up in constantly perfecting their skills that they never actually take action. There is a tendency to always seek more qualifications, gurus or worth outside of themselves. This is when they should push themselves to follow their strategy/authority and not let the fear keep them still. They need to jump even though it’s uncomfortable. Over time they will prove to themselves that they do indeed know enough and are entirely capable. They should not turn their abilities of sensing when something is incomplete or not enough onto themselves, this is for the external.

Gates within the Heart/Ego Center

The gates coming from the heart center concern self esteem, contribution, impact and materialism.

Gate 40: Aloneness

Gate 40 holds the gift and desire to give and connect to their tribe. They bring people and communities together for a common purpose. They have a contrast however where they want to serve their community but also want to free themselves from it. They can struggle with loneliness where they can feel lonely even in a group of people. This drives them to establish real, vulnerable connections that fill this void (which is part of their purpose). In their highest expression, they balance their hardworking and community-minded nature with their need for alone time and rest.

In the lower expression, they can be co-dependant or gain worth from serving others, resulting in weak boundaries. This can lead to burnout from overgiving.

Gate 26: Egoist

Gate 26 embodies the conscious salesperson, marketer and closer of deals. They believe in abundance in life so they sell a brighter possibility to their community, with integrity. They know the right thing to say so that it lands with their audience, as they are highly attuned to their customer base. They can explain lofty complicated topics in more simpler and more digestible expressions. At their higher expression, they share the vision of their group and know how to articulate their mission and purpose.

In the lower expression, they can manipulate or control others for their own gain.

Gate 50: Shock

Gate 50 holds a deep inner desire and knowing that they are here to impact others. They are designed to shock, provoke or initiate others for their ultimate betterment. They are meant to step into this gift and do the things that allow them to make an impact and give back to the World. If they feel like they aren’t ready or don’t have what it takes, they need to come back to the knowing that they have been training lifetimes for this. Their soul chose to have an impactful existence. If they can find motivation that their path is bigger than themselves and their comfort zone, then they can embody their power.

At the lower expression, they may use their gifts to shock and impact other people by intentionally hurting them, pushing their buttons or preying on those with past traumatic life experiences. Or alternatively, they shy away from their impactfulness in fear that it is “too much” or undesirable.

Gate 21: Control

Gate 21 is known as the money gate. Those with this gate have a natural instinct of how to control, organise and manage resources and money. They have great skills in understanding, respecting and valuing resources. If a pool of resources (money, people, skills) is in front of them, they know how it should be distributed. This brings an energy of directing people in a positive way.

Lower expression manifests as controlling others to appease their own ego, or forcing people to do things their way. There is significant conditioning around money in society so it is important to be mindful if they have absorbed these beliefs.

Gates within the Identity/G Center

The gates coming from the G-center relate to identity, life direction, love and purpose.

Gate 25: Innocence

Gate 25 embodies a childlike energy of unconditional pure love. When they feel themselves start to overcomplicate or make things harder than they need to be, they need to come back to the truth that love is everywhere. That intention is everything. If they come from the place of love, they will be guided correctly. People see this as a special side of them, holding the beacon that life can be fun and silly. There is a deep trust that the Universe will look after them and love will conquer all. As their highest expression, they can embrace the unexpected because they know that they will conquer. They need to remove any conditioning that they should always have everything “all together” or be “grown up”. People might judge their hopeful nature as naive, but it is important to say “I hear you but I trust in life”.

In the lower expression, they can judge themselves and others. If they have had an experience that left them feeling unworthy of love, it can shut them down in the future. They need to always come back to their inherent self worth and unconditional love.

Gate 46: Determination

Gate 46 embodies the energy of enjoyment of being alive in a human body. They are here to be a physical embodiment of love, with a deep understanding that the body is a vehicle for the Soul. Being in their body carries the gift of serendipities and flow - often being in the right place at the right time without planning it. Seeing the beauty and gratitude for their body is pivotal to alignment. Those with this gate often will keep fit and healthy, or use their body in fulfilling their dreams. For some, there may also be a self love journey to learn to accept and love their body.

At the lower expression, they may not listen to their body, be mean/cruel to their body, or use food, drugs, alcohol, or anything else to dull or numb the body.

Gate 2: Direction

Gate 2 encompasses the ability to bring things into existence, and turn ideas into reality. They have an inner compass that allows them to follow through and create on the material plane. Once they have found direction to channel their energy through, they become devoted and determined in the pursuit of it. They become an expert in showing others the way to make ideas into existence and follow through with their visions too. At their higher expression, they become masters of the material plane because of their practical mind that understands how the physical world works.

In the lower expression, they may force direction on themselves or others, especially if they have an undefined G-center.

Gate 15: Extremes

Gate 15 embodies an energy for wildness and marching to the beat of their own drum. They are constantly trying to find a rhythm to life and are drawn to extremes - they are either all in or all out. They go to the extremes for the rest of us so that they can pass on the wisdom and lessons gained from going to the edge that others are afraid to. The goal is to learn the gifts and bring awareness to others. There is a deep rooted love of humanity here. They often easily win the respect, support and admiration of others.

The lower expression manifests as seeking extremes to avoid the dullness of life. They may have an inability to slow down and find a consistent rhythm. Or shut down due to conventional rules or societal pressure to be like everyone else.

Gate 10: Behaviour of Self

Gate 10 represents a love for the journey of life and love of Self. The gate holds the gifts of self empowerment and empowers others to also live a great life. They’re default setting is seeing the good in life and expressing their individual expression, without trying to fit in. True happiness only exists when they follow their own path and in their true authenticity, using their strategy and authority. They become the beacon that people need to see someone loving life.

At the lower expression, they may put pressure on always enjoying life and spiralling if they have off days. But every day, they need to just cultivate little ways in which they can love their life but not overload pressure on top. Hard times and conditioning may taint this trust in life. But gate 10 knows that everything will work out and they will empower themselves to find the light again.

Gate 7: Role

Gate 7 holds the energy of a natural born authority and leader. They have the gift of directing people towards a common goal and purpose. Often as a manager who holds the responsibility of how things or people should be organised. They see the potential in others and know who is right for the job. People likely look to those with gate 7 for advice and instruction. They are at their most powerful when “lead from behind” by showing others how to access their own inner power. At their highest expression, they are firm but fair and move people forward by capturing the hearts and minds of those looking to them.

At the lower expression, they may get swept away on a power trip and use their gifts to forcefully bend others their way. They may also worry about their popularity or pleasing the people they are designed to be leading, i.e. moulding their actions based on the likes or dislikes of others.

Gate 1: Creative Self Expression

Gate 1 holds the gift of being highly creative and self expressive. It is the gate of ideas, creativity and ability to create newness. They have an eye for innovation and can spot the potential of newness everywhere. They are not afraid to push the envelope and find new ways to the old.

At the lower expression, there can be a sense of unworthiness when they aren’t on top of their creative game. They start to question their true purpose and forget the magic of who they really are. Creativity comes in waves so they should not get too melancholy if they are not creating something new. There is an abundance of ideas, and they will always be coming if they have this gate. Declutter their life, make room for their creativity to prosper, and only follow the ideas that their authority confirms is the correct way.

Gate 13: Listener

Gate 13 embodies the listener archetype. They feel deeply connected to others by listening to their stories, experiences, and challenges. They compel and attract others to share their stories and secrets with them, often saying “I can’t believe I am telling you all this!” Even if they are trying to mind their own business, people will always be sharing with them. Those with this gate believe everyone needs someone who can listen with empathy, compassion, and grace. They also have the gift of being able to retell stories as wisdom, but they need proper downtime to process these.

At the lower expression, they can become a dumping ground for people’s secrets, challenges, and darkness. This is where boundaries are beneficial.

Gates within the Throat Center

Gates within the throat center concern communication, self expression and manifestation.

Gate 33: Retreat

Gate 33 is one of two story telling gates that reside in the throat center. Their stories are reflective, information rich and not embellished. Their truths and wisdom are shared most powerfully and effectively through storytelling. In order to utilise this gift, they need to make time for reflection and down time to process the information they have received.

Those with gate 33 need to retreat and take a break from the outside world to process experiences in their life. This alone time allows them to reflect on their experiences to decide how to alchemise the wisdom before sharing. They usually have gone through a lot in their years in order to have embodied wisdom to share with others. They become a guide to others by using their accumulated experience and knowledge. They have a great memory which helps them draw on specific moments and experiences.

At the lower expression, they do not know when it is time to retreat. If they don’t, they can exhaust and burn themselves out. Recharging and resetting is essential for their health. It can also be taken to the extreme by isolating or hiding from the world, especially when the wisdom of harmful collective events has not revealed itself yet. They could also lash out at others about past experiences that clarity has not been gained yet.

Gate 8: Contribution

Gate 8 has the gift and desire to make a contribution by being a creative role model. They always seek to make a contribution or make a difference by leading by example. They often hold projects and people together, and draw attention to “great things” they have discovered. They are a curator who knows what other people like and understands sharing in correct timing, i.e. trends. They do not necessarily have to be involved, but they point the way ahead.

At the lower expression, they worry about whether others will like or accept their creative self expression, and therefore hide or don’t make their contribution.

Gate 31: Influence

Gate 31 carries a highly influential energy with an authoritative voice that is hard for others to ignore. They have a natural leader and alpha energy that empowers people without trying. They communicate in a way that has the potential to help others and encourage them to achieve their goals. At their highest expression, they use their voice to speak their own vision and help lift the people up around them.

At the lower expression, gate 31 may be afraid to step into the role of leader or believe that they are unworthy of being an authority. Alternatively, they may use their influence to manipulate others for their own personal gain, or try to force their vision onto others.

Gate 20: Now

Gate 20 is the energy of being present and speaking the truth in the moment. People with this gate need to “be in the now” by grounding themselves in the present moment. This brings a strong manifestation energy that has the power to birth their dream reality. They are designed to call it like it is and can instantaneously cut through any moment with a profound statement. They can say something so true that it causes ripples.

At the lower expression, they can be living in the past or future. They need to ask themselves “Is this relevant to the moment?”.

Gate 16: Skills

Gate 16 provides a natural skill and talent that they are designed to share. Each person who has this gate will have their own version of skill, ability or talent. They are at their most powerful when they are in their genius and embrace their talents with enthusiasm and excitement, especially towards their creative projects. Their success and fulfilment lies when they recognise and value their natural skills, and share those gifts with the world. They should see themselves in service to their natural talent, it is their duty to share their skills. It is not a heavy burden but a beautiful gift to embrace enthusiastically.

In the lower expression, they tend to not believe their worth, chase certifications, believe they aren’t good enough, don’t know enough, or don’t have enough depth. They can be perfectionists and obsess about the “right” way to do things or waiting to “be ready” before starting things. If they wait till they feel ready, they will never start.

Gate 62: Details

Gate 62 holds the gift of spotting and explaining facts. Those who have this gate are very organised, have higher attention to the detail and see the importance in accuracy. They are highly conscientious and their expression displays a broad understanding for even the most complicated concepts. They have a clarity in their voice that helps them share eloquently and factually. It is hard for them to be misunderstood. They supply factual, logical and thorough information in a compelling way. Their natural ability to express is convincing and can persuade someone very easily.

At the lower expression, they can obsess over unimportant details or confuse and bore people with details without being asked.

Gate 23: Assimilation

Gate 23 gives voice to individual insights and unique perspectives. They see complicated things as “obvious” and have the gift of explaining these complicated topics in a way that is easily understandable to their audience. They can communicate in a clear, cut, unemotional and unattached way, where they get right to the point and speak the truth with clarity and grace. Their words can change the world and a person.

At the lower expression, they can fear to communicate or speak their truths for fear of being “weird” or “out there”. It is important for them to not talk “at” people, but rather wait for the right timing and audience for their message.

Gate 56: Stimulation

Gate 56 is the second of two storytelling gates. They are entertaining storytellers that find humour, delight and amusement in all things. They share their own subjective take on life, not objective facts. Their information transfer is not about facts (like gate 33) but share their own version of events through fascinating stories. They are people who enjoy travelling, broadening their horizons and living life to the fullest. They may add embellishment to their stories in order to inspire others into discovering something more in their lives.

In the lower expression, they have a propensity to be constantly bored or becoming distracted by the “next best thing”. There is a tendency to overstimulate by constantly wanting to talk, eat, social media, movies, drugs, etc.

Gate 35: Progress

Gate 35 embodies a love to experience new things. There is a desire to adventure and progress through life through their own experiences and speak about those. They want to squeeze every drop out of every possible opportunity. They have a low boredom threshold and seek out new, exciting experiences. There can be a tendency to overshare, but it is endearing to others.

At the lower expression, they can experience impatience and boredom in life. They may hop too quickly from experience to experience, from relationship to relationship, from job to job without thought or reason. They can become very restless, but this is also their gift to constantly be on the move. They may get to the end of their life tired and spent, but this can be a good sign - they have experienced all that there is to offer in life.

Gate 12: Caution

Gate 12 holds the gift of communicating in an impactful way. They are good communicators who have a deep, passionate way of expressing themselves. But they can be shy when their mood isn’t right. They can be naturally cautious, often unsure how they are feeling. They know how to get their message across and have great channelling abilities.

In the lower expression, they can feel somewhat moody and may be tempted to communicate from this place. However, it is important to be aware of their moods and wait to speak about how they are feeling once a negative mood has subsided.

Gate 45: Gatherer

Gate 45 holds the natural ability to bring people together with a voice that people listen to. They are the conscious leader who directs people with incredible influence and great allocation of resources. They are masters at managing, using, and distributing material resources (especially money) in service to family, friends, and community. Their voice is used to tell people what to do in a way that serves a greater cause.

At the lower expression, they can be controlling and push people down to rise above them. They may also hoard money and resources or unconsciously stay in a scarcity mindset due to conditioning.

Gates within the Ajna Center

Gates coming from the ajna reflect mind processes, forming opinions and point of view.

Gate 11: Ideas

Gate 11 brings a constant, endless stream of ideas, creativity and imagination. They are always thinking of new ideas to keep things fresh, new and transforming. Often creating innovative ways to outdated methods. They may have so many ideas that they aren’t physically able to bring them all into existence, so they are meant to share these with others. It is important to sift through their ideas and know what is for them and what is for others, using their strategy and authority. They should also write down all their ideas, big and small, as it puts out energy to receive more.

At the lower expression, they will feel the pressure to act on every idea and have a propensity to burn out from trying to bring them all into fruition.

Gate 43: Insights

Gate 43 holds the gift of pure knowing, breakthroughs and transformations. They see the alternative to old ways of doing things and are often one step ahead of others. They see new paradigm perspectives in a way that is obvious to them. It is like they are connected to universal truth and wisdom, that others may not be ready for. They have a voice inside their head bringing new truths. The power comes when they know the right time and audience to communicate them to (especially if they also have gate 23).

At the lower expression, they may listen to others rather than trusting their own inner wisdom, or be scared to think differently for fear of being “weird”. They need to know that these inner knowings do not always have to be communicated (especially if not connected to the throat), as they can just be for them. But they should never resist or brush off their innate knowing. This is their gift. They are to develop insights and perspectives that go against the grain. How else will the world transform and uplevel?

Gate 17: Opinions

Gate 17 encompasses the gift of substantiating opinions and creating information to corroborate that opinion. Those with this gate are not afraid to be opinionated. They love a discussion where they explore both sides of any story as they have a deep curiosity of other’s thoughts. Their logical thinking allows them to ponder things, create logical solutions and understand all aspects of a topic. If this gate is not connected with the throat, then this ability can be just for themselves. They don’t always need to explain everything to others, it can just be for their own knowledge and benefit.

At the lower expression, those with gate 17 can be overly dogmatic, authoritarian or mentally inflexible. It can create disharmony in their relationships by being narrow-minded and getting trapped in black and white thinking. They are their most powerful when they remain open without strict views, but also stay true to their own ideals.

Gate 47: Realisations

Gate 47 is the gate of realisations. People with this gate are always thinking in an esoteric and abstract way, seeking to understand life’s mysteries. They need to trust the timing of aha’s, insights and clarity. They have the gift of receiving revelations - “I’ve got it!” often when they least expect it. They must remain open to revelations to come through at any moment. By making room for rest and relaxation, there will be more space in their day to land.

At the lower expression, those with this gate can obsess over their thoughts and attach meaning to all of them. Or they will constantly try to find the a-ha moment, which can cause unnecessary anxiety and mental obsession.

Gate 24: Rationalise

Gate 24 encompasses the gift of reflection, looking within and questioning themselves to gain realisations. They have a somewhat forensic mind where they dissect the past and ponder to receive the truth. They can be pondering for weeks and then get the “a-ha”. They need to think about things from different angles and allow time for their realisation to come through. This can be frustrating as we often want the answer quicker, but this is not their process. They need to give space and silence for their realisations to present.

At the lower expression, those with this gate might avoid silence by filling with unnecessary noise. They may also judge or shame themselves for needing to revisit ideas, over and over again before they “click”.

Gate 4: Formulisation

Gate 4 is an ability to eliminate chaos and create logical solutions. Those with this gate have fixer energy where they can sort through unnecessary chaos and make order from it. They have the ability to create systems, methods and processes to mitigate chaotic disorder. They are people that can come up with answers to life’s questions. Those with this gate understand logically how humans work and can see patterns and clarity, in order to solve problems.

At the lower expression, there can be a tendency to look for problems everywhere and become overly fixated in solving them. There is a tendency of mental anxiety and intolerance that means they are unable to forgive and move on.

Gates within the Head/Crown Center

Gates coming from the crown center concerns inspiration.

Gate 63: Doubt

Gate 63 is the gate of doubt. Those with this gate have a tendency to be doubtful and suspicious. They are constantly questioning things to find the shortcomings and pitfalls. They will often question something until they are satisfied that the doubt no longer exists. This is their gift, they ensure things, projects and people are reliable before going all in. They need proof for ideas or things to be correct. They ask questions that shatter doubts and impossibilities, that can be great in a business environment. However, it can be detrimental in their personal lives if they are always critical or sceptical about people. Those with this gate need to ensure that their gift is for the collective and not personal. Their doubtful mind is meant to be used for the outside world, not their inner workings.

At the lower expression, those with this gate may struggle with excessive doubt that they never take action. Or they plant unnecessary doubt into other’s minds which in turn conditions them. They should also be mindful that they don’t hold onto other people’s doubts as their own.

Gate 61: Mystery

Gate 61 is the gate of simply knowing. Those with this gate have an inner knowing and can channel truth. Think of it as a second intuition living in the Crown center. They just “know” what is right for them and they often think about the mysteries of the Universe. This gate filters what is true and what is not, but these truths are subjective knowings so they should resist explaining what they know or have to factualise it. Some people will not be on their same wavelength, so it is a waste of energy to try to persuade them. This knowing usually comes as a flash of inspiration during moments of stillness, so the more they can create space for nothingness and open themselves up, the more insight they will receive.

At the lower expression, those with this gate can feel pressured to answer the biggest question of all: Why am I here? Why am I like this? They can easily get lost or overwhelmed with the question of why.

Gate 64: Confusion

Gate 64 is the gate of infinite possibilities, ponderings and potentials. Those with this gate have an analytical mind that tends to pull things apart to understand what it means to receive breakthroughs. They are always looking at what the lesson is from the past to understand it better and potentially learn from it. They can live in a place of “what ifs” where their inquisitive mind explores topics in depth. Often making them an expert and highly knowledgeable in that area.

At the lower expression, they may become obsessed with solving life’s mysteries. This is a losing battle as one will never solve these complexities and intricacies, and will result in mental pressure and fatigue. They may put pressure on themselves to figure everything out, as soon as confusion arises. But there does not always have to be a reason for every cycle and experience, so they need to make peace with how things unfold regardless.
